The Ruwer's key Gemeinden and sites are Eitelsbach, whose Karthäuserhofberg is a VDP.GL held as an alleinbesitz or monopole by Karthäuserhof, and Mertesdorf, where the three contiguous alleinbesitz of Schlosskellerei Carl von Schubert – Maximin Grünhaus are all Ortsteile, so their labels do not require the gemeinde name.

Karthäuserhofberg
Karthäuserhofberg is the VDP.GL of Eitelsbach, an alleinbesitz or monopole of Karthäuserhof. It is 90% Riesling and 10% Weissburgunder on south-west clay, and is named after the nearby Ruwer tributary. The VDP register puts it at 18,00 ha, 254m ü. N. N., facing S-SSW on a 55% slope, on Devonschieferverwitterung, and lists it as planted to Riesling.

Bruderberg
Bruderberg is a VDP.GL of 1 ha, east-facing, on blue Devonian slate — Blauer Devonschiefer. It is the first of the three running east → west, before Abtsberg and Herrenberg. The VDP register puts it at 1,32 ha, 140 - 150m ü. N. N., facing O-SO on a 60 - 75% slope, planted to Riesling and worked by Maximin Grünhaus.
Abtsberg
Abtsberg is a VDP.GL of 14 ha on a 70° gradient, on blue Devonian slate — Blauer Devonschiefer. The VDP register puts it at 13,00 ha, 150 - 250m ü. N. N., facing S - SO on a 50 - 70% slope, planted to Riesling and worked by Maximin Grünhaus.
Grünhäuser Herrenberg
The Grünhäuser Herrenberg is a VDP.GL of 19 ha, south-east-facing, on red Devonian slate — Roter Devonschiefer. The VDP register puts it at 19,37 ha, 190 - 280m ü. N. N., facing SO on a 20 - 65% slope, planted to Riesling and Weißer Burgunder, and worked by Maximin Grünhaus.
Kasel
Nies'chen
Nies'chen is a VDP.GL of Kasel, alongside Kehrnagel; the major holder is Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt, whose principal cellars are further upstream. It is 15,00 ha at 195-260m ü. N. N., facing S-SW on a 40-57% slope, on Blau- und Buntschiefer, planted to Riesling and worked by Karthäuserhof and Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt.
Kehrnagel
Kehrnagel is the other VDP.GL of Kasel, alongside Nies'chen; the major holder is Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt, whose principal cellars are further upstream. It is 13,00 ha at 209-256m ü. N. N., facing SSW-W on a 25-44% slope, on Devonschiefer, and is planted to Riesling.

Augenscheiner is a VDP.GL of Trier, 2,17 ha, at 120m ü. N. N., facing SW, on a 35-50% slope, on Buntsandstein. It is planted to Riesling. It is worked by Stiftungsweingut Vereinigte Hospitien.
